A new life, a new body, a new me...

This is one of those times, that I am so thankful that I said yes to getting healthy.  I was 181lbs and it was pushing higher not lower.  It was the highest I'd ever been and it was the scariest place I'd been in my life.  I could feel my blood pressure raising and doctors starting to question things.  I started snoring worse than I'd ever snored but some of that was allergies I believe.  I lost 10lbs before I went to my Dr's appointment.  I was utterly shocked when she refused to do a sleep study or any kind of testing.  She told me what an amazing job I was doing, keep doing it and find 10 people to help.  After finding that 10, help 10 more...etc and don't stop!  She said I was doing what she asks all her patients to do and won't do it.  So here I am, 41lbs lighter, 45 inches less and I feel like I have a new life, a new body, a new me.

I went from no energy, stressed easily, tired, needed a nap, exercising was on the back burner and did a lot of binge eating.

Now I have energy to:
~Play tag with my kids
~Run a little over a mile 3 times a week
~Use adaptagens to help maintain mental focus and help with stress
~Not need daily naps
~Lower blood pressure
~Strength
~Paid Groceries
~Dreams becoming reality
~New Clothes because old ones fall off (that could be embarrassing in public)
~Lost weight and now I'm successfully maintaining

Don’t...

Don’t be held captive by your thoughts... #motivationalmonday This hit me like a brick.  For so long I let myself be a prisoner by my thoughts, how I felt when I looked in the mirror, insecurities, lack of self confidence and now I feel like a whole new person!  I’m thankful that Jesus helped me through some of my darkest storms. Even when I feel alone, I know He is right beside me. Not to mention the amazing family I’ve been gifted.  I’m truly blessed.   Life is important. 👉 YOU 👈 are important.   Hope you have an awesome day and Happy New Year!

How important is breakfast...

Eight Reasons to Start Your Day With a Protein-Dense Shake.....  Your mom always told you that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Of course, mom’s always right.
