Another story...

#transformatontuesday goes to Craig!  His wife wrote:

“This is what starting at rock bottom looks like.

Then making a decision to not stay there.

This is 2 years in the making. My hubby hit his biggest low 2 years ago when he significantly injured his back.

He couldn’t work for months
He’s an RMT which meant no income for him
His mood was low (I had never seen him like this before)
He couldn’t help around the house
He could barely get out of bed
He could no longer play the sport his identity was founded in
His relationships took a hit
He felt useless

But he had a choice - to stay in that lowest place or somehow work himself out

So he did decided not to stay there.

One day at a time:
He sought treatment
He started reading self development books
He listened to podcasts
He started eating better
He started moving more each day
He accepted help
He had setbacks
He’d start again
He got back to the gym
He hired a coach
He up leveled his nutrition
He surrounded himself with people who supported him
He worked hard

And he’s still going. Now inspiring others to do the same. You see a physical transformation, but it’s his energy, mood and love for life again that is the greatest gain. ❤️💪🏼”

Don’t...

Don’t be held captive by your thoughts... #motivationalmonday This hit me like a brick.  For so long I let myself be a prisoner by my thoughts, how I felt when I looked in the mirror, insecurities, lack of self confidence and now I feel like a whole new person!  I’m thankful that Jesus helped me through some of my darkest storms. Even when I feel alone, I know He is right beside me. Not to mention the amazing family I’ve been gifted.  I’m truly blessed.   Life is important. 👉 YOU 👈 are important.   Hope you have an awesome day and Happy New Year!
