Is it real?

Sometimes I don’t always like to face reality. Is it a dream? Is it real?  Was I really that way?

I remember being exhausted, my joints were sore from all the inflammation, walking was a chore but I tried to keep moving.  So many times I crashed in the afternoon because of how exhausted I was.

Now I’m energetic, active, feel good when I look in the mirror, and just feel like I’ve been given a second chance to live life to its fullest.

I’m thankful for all the progress and moments like yesterday when I was carrying a backpack with 2 gallons of milk, gallon of orange juice and a 2 liter of 7up...not too mention mail.  You don’t realize how far you’ve come until things show us a little piece of where we were and are now.

Don’t be held captive by your thoughts... #motivationalmonday This hit me like a brick.  For so long I let myself be a prisoner by my thoughts, how I felt when I looked in the mirror, insecurities, lack of self confidence and now I feel like a whole new person!  I’m thankful that Jesus helped me through some of my darkest storms. Even when I feel alone, I know He is right beside me.
