One more life changed...

Wow!! I’m so thankful for Ginni’s testimony and for having someone willing to share their struggles in that maybe someone else it can help.  I’m blessed by her and I hope you are too!

In Ginni’s own words...
“Posting these pictures is very hard for me..... especially my starting picture - UGH.  I still don't like the way I look in pictures but....  I'm so happy, I'll get over my embarrassment.

I am so excited!  6 months ago, I went to the dr. and was told I was prediabetic, had the starting of non-alcohol fatty liver disease, high cholesterol and very low Vitamin D levels.  4 months ago, I started a nutritional system which is the ONLY system that I've tried where 1) I could stick to and not feel deprived , 2) saw results to keep my motivation up, and I am happy to say that I have lost 37.4 pounds (yes, the .4 matters - haha) AND the report from the doctor about my labs was this.... " All labs have returned fully back to normal limits with the exception of the LDL (bad cholesterol) which has improved from 134 down to 112 but still slightly over the goal of 99 or less.  Keep up the good work on diet and add the exercise as we discussed".  My overall cholesterol went from 203 to 190 so even though my LDL was still above normal limits (albeit lower than 6 months ago), it's definitely a step in the right direction and I know it'll only get better from here!

When I went to the doctor for my appointment last week, she walked in (looking at her laptop) and said, "Is this right, did you lose 35 pounds?"  It felt FANTASTIC to say, "I sure have"!  Now if only she knew I've lost another 2.4 pounds!!!  🙂  I think she was more excited than I was to get my blood work back.  I'm SO over the moon!  I can't thank Marybeth enough for bringing this nutrtional lifestyle system into my life!  I feel amazing, have energy, sleeping like a rock at night, waking up refreshed, am down 2 sizes in clothes.... the list goes on and on!  This nutrition is definitely one that works, is easy to follow and SHOWS RESULTS in so many ways!”

What about you?  What are you waiting for?  Maybe you know someone this could help. ❤️

Don’t...

Don’t be held captive by your thoughts... #motivationalmonday This hit me like a brick.  For so long I let myself be a prisoner by my thoughts, how I felt when I looked in the mirror, insecurities, lack of self confidence and now I feel like a whole new person!  I’m thankful that Jesus helped me through some of my darkest storms. Even when I feel alone, I know He is right beside me. Not to mention the amazing family I’ve been gifted.  I’m truly blessed.   Life is important. 👉 YOU 👈 are important.   Hope you have an awesome day and Happy New Year!

How important is breakfast...

Eight Reasons to Start Your Day With a Protein-Dense Shake.....  Your mom always told you that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Of course, mom’s always right. But does the science back her recommendation up? From an array of studies, scientists have demonstrated the efficacy of breakfast for a variety of health benefits. The number of these benefits also increase if that early morning meal is higher in protein, particularly in the form of a protein-dense shake. Here is a running list that should give you more reasons to start every day with a nutritious, high-protein meal. Or, better yet, a protein-dense meal-replacement shake: 1. Improved Concentration and Memory From large observational trials, mainly targeted toward children, breakfast is shown to be strongly associated with improved concentration and memory (1) Scientists suggest that this is due to breakfast’s immediate impact on blood sugar to fuel young brains (2,3).
