“Why FIT IN when you were born to STAND OUT!!
-Dr. Suess

I used to despise having my photo taken. I felt so self-conscious. 😭

I would hide behind friends or my children. πŸ‘©‍πŸ‘¦

I would wear oversized clothes in hopes of looking smaller. πŸ‘š

I would wear scarfs to pull your eyes away from my muffin top. 🧣

This one was the worst-I would wear an extremely padded bra so that my πŸ‘€ would look larger because it would make my tummy look smaller. 🀦🏻‍♀️(least that’s what I thought)

Regardless of all of my silly methods to hide my insecurities I had to eventually comes to terms with it. πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

Now, I’m taking Dr. Seuss’s advice. πŸ‘ŠπŸΌI was born to stand out!! πŸ’―πŸ’ͺ🏼 I used to be scared to wear white pants because they showed EVERYTHING, now I can wear what I want and feel confident in it. πŸ’™

Don’t...

Don’t be held captive by your thoughts... #motivationalmonday This hit me like a brick.  For so long I let myself be a prisoner by my thoughts, how I felt when I looked in the mirror, insecurities, lack of self confidence and now I feel like a whole new person!  I’m thankful that Jesus helped me through some of my darkest storms. Even when I feel alone, I know He is right beside me. Not to mention the amazing family I’ve been gifted.  I’m truly blessed.   Life is important. πŸ‘‰ YOU πŸ‘ˆ are important.   Hope you have an awesome day and Happy New Year!
