Can't believe the changes...

Can’t believe the changes that have happened.

19 months ago I was tired, no energy as well as many hidden struggles.

5 months on my new lifestyle journey I hit my goal weight. Decided 10 more pounds and then that’s it. I’ve successfully maintained for 14 months.

It’s more than a physical journey though. Not only do I have energy, but I can run and play with my kids, go on hikes and I just ran an 8k which I had said I would never do.

I have gained my physical health but even more I’ve gained confidence, more secure in life, positive, chains broken, living life full of joy and happiness.

I thank the Lord for all He has helped me with and giving me strength to keep going no matter what. He spoke to me very vividly on my 8k run. I said I was alone. He said, “No, I am with you! I will give you strength. I am right here and I’m not leaving.” I felt His presence with me. I kept thanking Him for giving me the opportunity to run the race and for giving my health to me so I could. I’m so blessed. All I want to do is be a blessing to others. So much to be thankful for!

Don’t be held captive by your thoughts... #motivationalmonday This hit me like a brick.  For so long I let myself be a prisoner by my thoughts, how I felt when I looked in the mirror, insecurities, lack of self confidence and now I feel like a whole new person!  I’m thankful that Jesus helped me through some of my darkest storms.
