As you get older...

As you get older, hormones change and things just don’t work like they use to.  I didn’t realize how much lean muscle I’ve been gaining.  Now I’m realizing that it’s still possible to get stronger even with aging. What is this stuff anyway?  Miracle growth...  Whatever it is it’s changed the way I feel on the inside out.  It’s not cured everything but my quality of life is so much better than it use to. You’d never have caught me running an 8k.  Didn’t think I’d be bike riding like I am or even running with the kids.  All I wanted was a nap 😂 My hair, nails, skin...it’s getting nutrients that have been missing for too long.  I must be doing something right...I think? Whatever it is, I’m thankful for it!  And the closer relationship it’s brought between me and the Lord, my amazing husband and wonderful kids I’ve been blessed with.  Not to mention all my friends and family that love me for me. What are you doing for you?  How are you taking care of yourself? What is important

The happy mom that I need to be is there for my kids.  I don’t need to scream.  They just need to know they are loved and I’d move any mountain I could.  I’m able to do things with the kids again like bike riding, playing tag, running my first race this May 2019...even 8k at that.  I get free groceries plus some to help out with extras in life or even those oops moments.  We all have them. My life is c
