I quit dreaming...

Do you ever get so laser focused?

Like you can almost touch something but if you reach out of your comfort zone, you might be able to touch it with your fingertips?

That’s where I’m at and I’m going to step out on that limb.

For so long, I quit dreaming.  I even shut others down when they wanted to dream.  Like seriously, this will never happen.  We lived paycheck to paycheck wondering when the relief will come.

Not anymore...

I watched a friend who bought the house of her dreams and is making it even more like she’s had it in her head each day.

So I started dreaming... We always talk about a cabin on 40 acres. I picture it having this wrap around porch looking off into the sunset.  Two rocking chairs sitting side by side with a stand in between to hold daddy’s coffee and my tea.  A quiet place to do devotions together while listening to nature make its sounds.  A place to get away from the busyness of island life. Sometimes we need it.

There are so many other dreams I have but this is just one of them. And it’s really gonna happen.  I feel it...

Don’t be held captive by your thoughts... #motivationalmonday This hit me like a brick.  For so long I let myself be a prisoner by my thoughts, how I felt when I looked in the mirror, insecurities, lack of self confidence and now I feel like a whole new person!  I’m thankful that Jesus helped me through some of my darkest storms. Even when I feel alone, I know He is right beside me.
