Life is not always easy...

Sometimes we don’t always understand why things happen in life. Who we ended up where we are? What we could’ve done different?

Honestly you are who you are because of the challenges and battles you’ve fought.  Was it fun? No..  Did you learn from it? Maybe. Do you have to go through it again?  Yes if you didn’t get it the first time.  Does this make you an awful person? No....just means there was something you didn’t learn and get the first time.

Life is not always easy and sometimes feels like when will the mountain move.  Like really I’m tired of climbing.

Sometimes you have to get so tired of being tired. Tired of struggling and fighting against the waves.

Sometimes you have to ride with the waves. Even sometimes drop everything and put yourself first.  I thought it was always selfish and did for everybody else.  Even when my husband said honey go treat yourself.  Sometimes you feel like you don’t deserve it and that taking care of others is more important.

I finally took care of me 2 years ago and it’s been the best thing I’ve done. The value that I can add to my family, friends and those around me means everything. I feel like I can be a better mom, wife, friend, whatever else cape I wear.  I can even run with my kids now. Something I’ve enjoyed is biking from downtown all the way home even with all the hills that I encounter along the way.

This journey has been so real and that’s why I’m so passionate to share with others.  It’s changed my life in such an amazing way!

If I can do it, anyone can.

Don’t...

Don’t be held captive by your thoughts... #motivationalmonday This hit me like a brick.  For so long I let myself be a prisoner by my thoughts, how I felt when I looked in the mirror, insecurities, lack of self confidence and now I feel like a whole new person!  I’m thankful that Jesus helped me through some of my darkest storms. Even when I feel alone, I know He is right beside me. Not to mention the amazing family I’ve been gifted.  I’m truly blessed.   Life is important. 👉 YOU 👈 are important.   Hope you have an awesome day and Happy New Year!

How important is breakfast...

Eight Reasons to Start Your Day With a Protein-Dense Shake.....  Your mom always told you that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Of course, mom’s always right. But does the science back her recommendation up? From an array of studies, scientists have demonstrated the efficacy of breakfast for a variety of health benefits.
