Wondering where I’m going...

Fully focused and prepared to take on today’s tasks.

Sometimes as a mom, wife, teacher, leader, you wonder how everything works to function properly. Somehow through Gods grace and His mercy I’m able to keep going.

As a teacher, we often wonder if our little ones are inspired with big ambitions and creativity.  It’s easy to want to mold them into what we want them to be, but that’s not fair.  When I decided to homeschool, I had to let go of a lot of things; control was a big one.  We must allow one to develop their personalities and show their creativity.  I know it’s sad, but I didn’t know my kids.  In public school they gave all they had to the teachers which no complaints. I had some amazing teachers and now they have something of me to carry with them.  Maybe inspired them to reach harder to those unreachable.  But...the struggle was real when getting to know my kids.  Only having them a few hours to all day, every day was an adjustment. Now looking back, deciding to homeschool has been one of the best decisions ever.

I know your probably wondering where I’m going with this...

Almost 2 years ago, I made a lifestyle change.  Honestly I thought I was just trying to lose some weight so I could tie my shoes without feeling like a cardio workout. Maybe be able to walk with my family easier. Who knows even have more energy.  I was tired of being tired but didn’t know where to turn.  Then I turned to a leader who inspired me so much years ago.  Now she is an amazing friend, encouragement to me and pushes me to strive for my dreams.  If she told me I’d be leading a team and inspiring others, I may not have believed her then.  I felt like I was in a dark room trying to find my way around let alone what my purpose in life was.

I think I’ve found my passion, my inspiration.  Do you ever feel like Joesph in the pit of lions wondering if that’s what your life is going to be?  Like your just destined to never make a difference and life will always be a struggle?  Life can feel that way.  I know a way out.

As a leader, I will continue to pour out to those around me, to encourage, inspire, support, and devote to helping you.

Don’t be held captive by your thoughts... #motivationalmonday This hit me like a brick.  For so long I let myself be a prisoner by my thoughts, how I felt when I looked in the mirror, insecurities, lack of self confidence and now I feel like a whole new person!  I’m thankful that Jesus helped me through some of my darkest storms. Even when I feel alone, I know He is right beside me. Not to mention the amazing family I’ve been gifted.  I’m truly blessed.   Life is important. 👉 YOU 👈 are important.   Hope you have an awesome day and Happy New Year!

Improved Concentration and Memory From large observational trials, mainly targeted toward children, breakfast is shown to be strongly associated with improved concentration and memory (1) Scientists suggest that this is due to breakfast’s immediate impact on blood sugar to fuel young brains (2,3).
