Exact opposite...

Finding your sweet spot...

Most know I’ve been really focusing on my dreams and making things happen.  I’ve been listening to John C Maxwell. Such an amazing leader and he encourages me to step out of my comfort zone and learn how to be a better person.

One of the things he said was, “ Put your quotes in your well. Fill the well up.” Often we spend so much time listening to our thoughts.  Our thoughts that tare us down.  Thoughts that tell us we’ll never achieve the things we dream. That we are doomed from anything changing.  He also said keep growing and you will have something to write about. It will help keep your game.

I remember with the different jobs I’ve had, there was some affirmations but it mostly all came when you had to review your performance. I use to get so anxious...thinking what could go wrong.

Thankfully it’s the exact opposite. I have a huge support system. Someone who prays for and with me.  When I ask how can I achieve my goals gives me the tools to succeed. Sometimes pushes me to the edge of my seat so I can take my next flight.

I’m not where I want to be but I’m striving everyday.  I will get what I’m going for.  Big things are coming.

I will leave you with this....

Do you enjoy what you do?  Are you good at it?  If you do this kind of work, will it add value to you as a person? If you do this kind of work, will you be able to add value to other people?

Don’t...

Don’t be held captive by your thoughts... #motivationalmonday This hit me like a brick.  For so long I let myself be a prisoner by my thoughts, how I felt when I looked in the mirror, insecurities, lack of self confidence and now I feel like a whole new person!  I’m thankful that Jesus helped me through some of my darkest storms. Even when I feel alone, I know He is right beside me. Not to mention the amazing family I’ve been gifted.  I’m truly blessed.   Life is important. 👉 YOU 👈 are important.   Hope you have an awesome day and Happy New Year!

How important is breakfast...

Eight Reasons to Start Your Day With a Protein-Dense Shake.....  Your mom always told you that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Of course, mom’s always right. But does the science back her recommendation up? From an array of studies, scientists have demonstrated the efficacy of breakfast for a variety of health benefits. The number of these benefits also increase if that early morning meal is higher in protein, particularly in the form of a protein-dense shake. Here is a running list that should give you more reasons to start every day with a nutritious, high-protein meal. Or, better yet, a protein-dense meal-replacement shake: 1. Improved Concentration and Memory From large observational trials, mainly targeted toward children, breakfast is shown to be strongly associated with improved concentration and memory (1) Scientists suggest that this is due to breakfast’s immediate impact on blood sugar to fuel young brains (2,3).
