What is your story?

Last week I started an 11 day Fit for Fun Challenge.  You’ll find that it’s one of the things I love doing only because I know I love food and often need to keep myself on track.  It’s a lifestyle not a life sentence.  I decided that I needed to do a detox.  I chose a 48hr because I just really felt I needed to purge some things that shouldn’t be in my life.  I shared this video on Friday, May 17, 2024.  Please listen as I share my experience.  Maybe you feel like you are stuck and not sure how to get some health issues under control.  From my own personal experience what we eat is so important. I have lower blood pressure than I’ve ever had, as well as other goals I’ve accomplished.  I truly believe that together we can accomplish so much.   What is your story? ~ Lisa Cogswell

Homeschooling mama

I just wanted to share a little bit more of me… When it comes to homeschooling it’s no easy decision.  As a matter of fact, it’s been almost 10 years and still going.  Did I just say that out-loud?  Honestly there were days that I thought about throwing in the towel but I kept going.  I’m so glad that I chose to say the course.  So many blessings I’ve received. And God has given me so much through this journey. So many have asked if I have a degree to teach, what curriculum do you use, do you interact with others…No I don’t have a teaching degree (associate in business…but honestly as a mom, everyday is a learning and teaching moment.  We use a mixture of curriculums. When you have different children, different learning ways…you adjust.  Lastly, if you could really sit down and listen to my kids, they can talk to anyone little into the golden years.  They can relate on various age levels…not just their age group.  Some adults cannot even do...

4-Ingredient Peppermint Patties

4-Ingredient Peppermint Patties 💚🍫 Saw these and I love Peppermint Patties.  So does my family.  Now to get a few ingredients and try these!  I heard they are amazing! You’ll need:
3 cups Unsweetened Shredded Coconut
2-3 tbsp pure maple syrup
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
melted dark chocolate 1. In a food processor or blender, combine the shredded coconut until it starts to stick together. Scrape down the sides as needed.
2. Add in the maple syrup and peppermint extract until you reach a dough-like consistency. 3. Form the mixture into discs and arrange them on a lined baking sheet. 4. Place in the freezer for 15 minutes to set.
5. Melt the chocolate and dip each patty into the chocolate. Coat all sides and place back on the lined baking sheet.
6. Place in the freezer for 10-15 minutes until the chocolate is firm and enjoy! 🤍
