Are you ok...

Are you ok being you, truly being you? It’s taken me a lot in life to figure that out.  That I don’t have to please everybody.

Yes I’m silly at times, gullible and distracted at times.  It’s ok.  I am who I am.

I’m thankful that a dear friend cared enough to tell me the truth when it wasn’t easy to.  Maybe she was afraid it would hurt or end our friendship. If anything at all it’s stronger.

Have faith to receive the hard things and be brave enough to change the things needing changed.

Hard things come our way. Friendships are broken and who knows if they’ll ever repair.  One thing I know is those who are meant to be in your life will always be there no matter what.  They accept you for your imperfections and love who you are.

So many times I thought my life was over.  I’ve done some stupid things.  God had something bigger planned for me and yet He is not done.  He’s still working on me.  I’m far from perfect.  I guess though if I was perfect I wouldn’t need Jesus.  I’ll leave some of my imperfections for another day.

One thing I want to leave you is no matter what put your faith in God, don’t ever let others tare you down and hold your head high.

Be the reason someone keeps going!

Don’t...

Don’t be held captive by your thoughts... #motivationalmonday This hit me like a brick.  For so long I let myself be a prisoner by my thoughts, how I felt when I looked in the mirror, insecurities, lack of self confidence and now I feel like a whole new person!  I’m thankful that Jesus helped me through some of my darkest storms. Even when I feel alone, I know He is right beside me. Not to mention the amazing family I’ve been gifted.  I’m truly blessed.   Life is important. 👉 YOU 👈 are important.   Hope you have an awesome day and Happy New Year!

How important is breakfast...

Eight Reasons to Start Your Day With a Protein-Dense Shake.....  Your mom always told you that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Of course, mom’s always right.
