Cleanse day results...

One of the biggest struggles...

One of the biggest things people struggle with in dieting is maintaining once you reach your goal weight. I personally have been maintaining since Mar 2018. I haven’t stopped eating things I love either. I believe you have to find what works for you and others will watch closely to see if it’s the real thing.  For me this is a lifestyle change, not a life sentence.

Sometimes your body needs...

#wellnesswednesday Sometimes your body just needs to be reset. We’ve had 2 birthdays this last week and I enjoyed my sweet treats. Though my body is doing a little rebellious act today. Having an ah-ha moment...

Fully motivated!

Protein ball recipe...so good!!

#foodiefriday Ok these are on my list to make!  Maybe we’ll turn it into an assignment for school today.  Kids love these!! Need a quick pick me up between during meals? Try this tasty treat!  INGREDIENTS: 1 Cup Almonds (to make 1 cup almond butter, see note) 1 Cup Old Fashioned Oats 1/4 Cup Vanilla Protein Powder 3/4 Cup Raisins 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon 1 Pinch Salt 1/4 Cup plus 1 Teaspoon Honey Chocolate Chips*optional DIRECTIONS: Place the nuts in a blend and blend until smooth, stopping if it gets too hot. Place everything in a large bowl and stir to combine. Roll into balls and place in a storage container in the fridge for snacking. Add additional almonds if the almond butter comes up short.

Thankful...

#thankfulthursday The first picture I was tired, no energy, tying shoes was exhausting, lack of confidence and just raveling at the seams. The second picture was this summer after I reached my weight goal. Energy, adaptogens to help stress, vitamin B’s, confidence, self worth and just ready to take on life. And now, I’m still maintaining, haven’t fallen off the wagon, still enjoy foods I love just added vitamins, minerals and higher protein to balance out what my body was lacking.  What I found is I could eat healthy but it wasn’t enough.  All I can say is I’m so glad I said yes. And so here I am, humble, more confident and ready to help others reach for the stars.  Dreams really are possible. Israel’s story...

Everytime I see someone’s life changed it makes me even more grateful for deciding to go on this journey.  I’ve gained so much through this lifestyle.  So glad I said yes! Here’s Israel’s story... “Everyone has a beginning. My Journey started years ago I tried to do it on my own. I keep say  I knew what I was  doing and I knew how to get it done. The frustrating part was that  if I knew what I was doing  then  I’d be there already. Not till I open my mind and my heart to new things is when change happen.  I asked for help from people that I looked up too people that motivated me. I listened with both ears took notes and try new things to find the right lifestyle that fit me. Because the way I see it If didn’t take care of myself then  I wouldn’t be around to take care of the people I loved ❤️. If I can help you with this is to be open to try new things. Being close minded you will just keep repeating the same behaviors and actions that got you to  place that you are now. But

Changed life...

#facefriday It’s been 15 months since I started my health journey.  I’ve been successfully maintaining my weight for 10 months.  Really!?! Wow... I’ve gone from being tired, exhausted and health was unraveling at the seams to now full of energy, lower blood pressure, focus and clarity. There’s more I could list but bottom line is that I’m so glad I found something that allows me to still eat the things I love and add the nutrition that I was lacking.  I love food so taking it away from me would be a boxing match waiting to happen.  If you love food and want to see how this could help you, let’s talk.  My life is forever changed...blessed and thankful!

#thankfulthursday So much to be thankful for...friends, family, family not by blood, fb family and anyone I may have accidentally left out.  Thank you for supporting me through my struggles, storms of life insecurities, mountains I’ve climbed, victories, regaining my health and self confidence, through losing my grandpa and just accepting me for me.  2018 had some speed bumps but it’s made me rise above and look higher.  God has big things in store for this year.  I’m so thankful for where life is going.  I just wanted you all to know I’m blessed and thankful for all you do.  Thank you...❤️
